Motto: Excellence -- Let’s Talk About It! LiDEMP motto is based on four considerations: - Over 95% (ninety-five percent) of all human beings will die without realizing their full excellence potential, knowingly or unknowingly.
- This huge majority of people will simply go the way of mediocrity where anything and everything goes in a so-called comfort zone.
- Only a dismal 5% (five percent) will ever, on purpose, go the extra mile for excellence, taking nothing for granted.
- Excellence is a God-given virtue that is meant to be a lifestyle, hence the exhortation in Matthew 5:48, “But you are to be perfect, even as your Father in heaven is perfect.”
It is against this backdrop that the LiDEMP motto derives its pertinent advocacy – one aimed at stimulating talk about the things of excellence.
Mission As a marketplace ministry, LiDEMP engages in advocating the raison d’être, or the relevance, of excellence and thereby Articulating a Culture of Excellence, which is universal, cross-cultural as well as non-denominational. The mission is, first and foremost, motivational: - To motivate people with principles, messages and teachings which are life- changing with the aim of raising their excellence awareness and prompting them to eschew mediocrity.
Secondly, the mission is humanistic: - To render the Word of God, including certain exemplary Biblical situations and personalities, relevant to present-day life.
- To talk people into employing their attributes of excellence so that the world and its marketplace would become a haven for living and for business.
It is within the context of this motivational and humanistic mission that LiDEMP addresses the day-to-day dynamics of corporate and socio-economic issues. |
